John F. Sheridan Company
Pantomine * Cinderella '
A Sydney paper, speaking of the production of Cinderella Pantomime, which is to be staged at the Princess Theatre on Boxing Day by Mrf John F. Sheridan and his brilliant musical company, says : ' Cinderella is a pantomime of the very funniest and most beautiful kind, full of a,l the grand pageants and biaJlets and tableaux that are expected in such affairs. The old time clown and pantaloon seem to have taken with the present day children— and old people too— as though they were something new and fresh, instead of the funny people our grandfathers loved. The ' wicked demons and the good fairies ' keep everyone entranced until the harlequinade ; and after that it is simply a dream— an ecstatic i dream— of weird ijtoappenin^s, of side-splitting! mirth, and of ridiculous escapades too funny to be described.' The pantomime season commences with a matinee on Boxing Day at 2.15 ; evening at 8. There will also be matinees on the following Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday,
