Dean Foley, in the presence of a large gathering of friends and acquaintances, of the contracting parties— Mr. Stephen Tasker, eldest son of Mr, S. Tasker, Opawa, and Miss Mary Agnes Ryan, eldest daughter of the late Mr. John Ryan, of Castle Connel, Limerick, Ireland. The bride was very tastefully robed in white trellis worked silk, handsomely trimmed with lace, and was given away by her uncle, Mr. P. Ryain. Miss.J. Ryan, sister of the bride, filled the position of bridesmaid, and Mr. W. Tasker discharged the duties of best man. After the ceremony a large party sat down to breakfast at the residence of Mr. P. Ryan, Matheson's road, Linwood. The health of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by the Very Rev, Dean Foley, who, in felicitous terms referred to his acquaintance with the bride's parents and other relatives. Mr. M. Moloney, in a brief but happy speech, wished long life and prosperity to the newly-wedded couple. The happy couple subsequently left on their honeymoon trip. Numerous, costly, and useful presents were received from a wide circle of friends and well wishers.
