Several reports are crowded out of this issue. The usual fortnightly meeting of St. Patrick's branch of the H.A.C B. Society (writes our Palmerston North correspondent) was held in the parish school on Wednesday last -with a full attendance of members. Two new members were initiated and seven candidates were proposed.—A concert, followed by a social, will be held in the Theatre Royal on Wednesday, 30th inst , on behalf of St. Patrick's Choir.— l hear on good authority that Dr. Noonan, of Blenheim, is about to reside and practise in Palmerston.— The many friends of Mr Tulley, of Hunterville, will be pleased to hear that he has so far recovered from his recent operation as to be able to leave Dr. Graham's hospital, though it may be some time yet ere he will be sufficiently strong enough to resume his duties.
