Nuns from Martinique
With the permission of Dr. Whiteside, Bishop of Liverpool, two French nuns from Martinique, West Indies, are appealing in the churches of that dioceso for funds wherewith to rebuild their convent, church, schools, and charitable institutions, wholly destroyed in the volcanic disaster of last year Twel\e of the Sisters were killed, two died of ahock, and the remainder are homeloss and penniless.
