WEDDING BELLS
Brady — Smith. A wedding which attracted more than ordinary irvterest (writes a correspondent) was celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church. Reefton, last week, the contracting parties being Mr Philip Brady and Miss Agnes Smith The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Uickson Mr. W. Smith, brother of the bride, gave her away The bride was attired in a dress of silver grey cashmere, with pearl and silk trimmings, and wore a cream tucked chiflon toque, trimmed with ostrich feathers and pear blossom The bridesmaid, Miss Sarah Smith, wore a dress of strawberry voile with trimmings of .string-colored insertion and black picture hat trimmed with ostrich feathers and pink roses Mr. Terence Brady acted as best man The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome diamond brooch and ring, and to the bridesmaid n pretty brooch The 'bride presented the bridegroom with a pair of gold sleeve links and a S"t of gold studs After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the residence of Mr and Mrs. O'Malley, where the wedding breakfast was laid The happy couple left by the evening train for Greymouth on the honeymoon trip, taking with them the best wishes of their many friends for a prosperous manned life Mr. and Mrs. Bradv were the recipients of numerous handsome and useful presents.
The Rev. Father Costello (says the Rangitikei ' Advocate ') has been presented by the Catholics ot Hunterville and Pohonui with a valuable harness horse for his private use In connection with the Hunterville ba7aar, the Catholics in the same portion of the parish have donated a cream pony which is to be sold, the proceeds to be devoted to the ba/aar funds The liberality of his people is much appreciated by Father Costello. Mr. Ronald Cameron, of Turakina Valley, has presented a valuable saddle horse to be disposed of at the same bazaar
