A Subscriber. — The paragraph went the rounds of the yellow press of the United States several months ago. It was then shown that there was little, if any, truth in it. The founders of the church consisted of a few of the riff-raff of the capital. The agitation against the friars has almost died out, and is only kept alive by a few irreconoilablea whose motives are easily Been through by the American officials.
