ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET.

At Addington the usual sales were held, and there were fair entries. Fat Cattle.— 2oß yarded, mostly good sorts. The market was slightly easier. Beef realised 26/- to 28/per 100It> ; steers brought £8 7/6 to £10 17/6 • heifers, £3 7/6 to £9 2/6 ; cows, £5 7/6 to £9 10/-. ' Fat Sheep —4000 penned. Exporters reduced limits, and an irregular sale resulted in a slight decline, especially for wethers. Wethers fetched 16/- to 20/6 ; best ewes, 15/6 to 17/-; others, 13/- to 15/- ; merino wethers, 12/9 to 14/10. Fat Lambs.— 36oo penned. Prices were slightly easier, except for prime. Freezers realised 13/6 to 15/5 : others, 10/- to 13/-. Store Sheep. — 6691 penned, principally lambs. There was a good sale of all classes. Four-tooth wethers principally North Island, fetched 14/7 to 15/2 ; two-tooths, 11/4 ; four-tooth wethers and maiden ewes, 14/2 • sixtooth ewes, 16/3 ; two-tooth, 13/11 to 14/6 ; ewes and lambs (all counted), 7/- to 8/- ; lambs, 9/5 to 11/6. Pigs. — 300 yarded. Fats were easier, but stores were in strong demand. Baconers realised 40/- to 55/- Annual to 4sd per tt>) ; porkers, 30/- to 38/- (equal to 5d per 1b) ; large* stores, 20/- to 35/- ; smaller do, 15/- to 17/suckers, 10/- to 13/-.
