There were small entries at the laet sale. Fat Cattle.— lss yarded, mostly prime steers and cows. There was a good demand both for local trade and export, and prices advance!. Fat Sheep. — About 3OCO penned. A very mixed lot. There were no Sydney buyers. Heavy cheep were easier. Although freezing buyers were not operating the prices weie kept up by the local trade requirements. Good ewes and prime merino wethers also sold well. Prime heavy wethers, 21s to 27s ; freezing quality, 18* to 208; lighter, 18s to ]'J« (id ; bust ewes, 17a Gd to 21s Gd ; others, 13s 0d to lfia Gd ; extra prime merino wethers, 18s lid to 20s 7d ; good, 15s 7d to lGs i)d ; others, 8s 9d to 12s Id. Fat Lamba aud Hoggets.— A dozen ppring lambs made from lls 9d to 17a 3d 220 hoggets were offered. They were mostly taken for export at 10s 8d to 13s, to 15s for extra good. Store Sheep.— 2llo yarded, mostly ewes in lamb and hoggets. No business was done in wethers or ewes, but hoggets sold well at from 10s 4d to 12* Bd. Pigs.— ,"3oo panned ; a mixed entry. Baconers were easier, while porkers were firm, and stores showed an advance, nearly 200 being taken by a southern buyer.
