Mr. Patrick Hunt", an old identity of Kilmore, died suddenly at Bailleston recently. Mr. Hunt was engaged in mining in New Zealand in the early days, and afterwards in the Kilmore and Reedy Creek districts, being manager of the famous Landridge claim, when exceptional yields were obtained gome 20 years ago. He was a member and president of the Kilmore Shire Council, and alfo connected with the Kilmore Waterworks Trust at its inception. Mr. Hunt was an ardent Home Ruler. The deceased gentleman was a brother of Mr. T. Hunt, ex-M.L.A.
