London, January 29.— The wool sales are firm, with good competition. Prices are unchanged. The Okawa clip realised 5d and the Gear s£d.

London, January 30. — There was keen competition for good wools. Prices are firm. Shabby wools sold in buyers' favor.

London, January 31. — The Bradford wool market is hardening. Common sixties, 19£ d; supers, 20id. At the wool sales the market was less animated. Faulties are somewhat easier, the others firm.

London, February 2. — The wool sales continue brisk and firm. . The late weakness has disappeared. Merinos are unchanged, and lower crossbreds occasionally slightly cheaper. The Oaroa clip realised 4&d, Buchanan B£d, and Kaputone 10£ d. The total quantity catalogued to date is 139,431 bales, and 133,273 bales have been sold.
