J^EW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS, 1902. The following ALTERATIONS IN and ADDITIONS TO the Ordmnry time table will be made in connection with the New Year Holidays :—: — WEDNESDAY, let JANUARY. CALEDONIAN SPORTS AT OAMARU. SPORTS AT PALMERSTON. RACES AT WAIKOUAITI. The Train usually leaving Dunedin for Oamaru at 7.40 a.m. will be actclf ratel, arriving Oamaru 12 30 p m. Special Train will leave Dunedin for Palmerston at 9.0 a.m arriving Palmerston 12.0 noon. * Special Train will leave Dunedin for Waikouaiti at 9,4t a.m ' arriving Waikouaiti 11.50 a.m. Trains return from Palmerston to Dunedin at 4.0 p.m., 4.55 p.m., and 7 20 p.m., Waikouaiti 5.0 p.m., 5.32 p.m., and 7.55 p.m., Seacliff 6.40 p.m., 6.17 p no., and 8.30 p.m., Waitati 6,10 p.m., 6.51 p.m, and 9.0 p.m., Purakanui 6.35 p.m., 7.17 p.m., and 9.25 p.m., arriving Dunedin 7.25 p.m., 8.10 p.m., and 10.15 p.m. Train will leave Oamaru for Dunedin at 10.45 p.m. The North and South Express Trains will not stop at Waikouaiti. * Train will leave Dunedin for Christchuroh at 10 20 a.m , Christchurch arrive 8.25 p.m. This train will make the same stops as the North Express between Dunedin and Christchuich. Train will leave Christohuroh for Dnnedin at 10.20 a.m., Dnnedin arrive 8.30 p.m. This Train will make the same stops *s the South Express between Christchurch and Dunedin. The 8.30 p m. train Dunedin to Port Chalmers and the 9.25 p.m. train Port Chalmers to Dunedin will NOT run. Train will leave Dunedin lot Port Chalmers at 9 p.m., returning from Port Chalmers at 9. 35 p.m. SPORTS AT MIDDLEMARCH. Train will leave Dunedin for Hyde at 8.15 a.m- arriving Middlemarch 11.37 a.m., returning from Hyde at 6.30 p m., Middlemarch 6.35 p.m., arriving Danedin 9.50. THURSDAY, 2nd JANUARY. A Train will leave Dunedin for Palmerston at 9.0 a.m., returning from Palmereton at 4.25 p.m., Waikouaiti 5.0 p.m., Seacliff 545 p.m., Waitati 6.20 p.m., arriving at Dunedin 7.50 p.m. Train will leave Dunedin for Christchurch at 10 20 a.m Christchurch arrives 825 pm. This Train will make the same stops an the North Express bstween Dunedin and Christchurch. Train will leave Christchurch for Dunedin at 10 20 a m , Dunedin arrive 8.30 p.m. This Train will m>.ke the same stops as the South express between Christchurch and Dunedin. Train will leave Oamaru for Dunedin at 10 45 p.m. Train will leave Danedin for Mosgiel ot 11.20 p.m. All goods traffic between Kurow and Clinton will be entirely suspended on Ist and 2nd January. The GOODS SHEDS at Dunedin and Port Chalmers will be Closed en Ist and 2nd January. By Order.
