COOKING A PLEASURE.
It has been difficult in the past to obtain First-Class Recipes for Colonial use, because the best books devoted to cooking are based on English requirements, and it ia often impossible to obtain the ingredients recommended in such books. Whitcombe and Tombs have brought out a new Is " Everyday Cookery," which contains 782 Economical Recipes compiled by one of the best professional cooks that have come to New Zealand. — %*
