Mrs. Catherine Riordan, Millstreet.

On August 19 there died at Millstreet, County Cork, Ireland, a well-kndwn and highly-esteemed resident in tlie person of Mrs. Catherine Riordan, relict of the late Mr. William Riordan, and mother of Mr. J. W. Riordan, of Dunedin. The deceased had attuned the ripe age of 78 years, and her demise was deeply regretted by a large circle of friends. Among her children are four daughters, members of various religious communities in the United States.— li. I. P.
