OBITUARY.

» BEY. FATHEB HENNEBSY, THAMES. It is with sincere regret (writes our Auckland correspondent) that I have to announce the death of the Rev. Father Hennessy which took place at the Thames last Monday. The deceased priest was a native of County Gal way, Ireland, and had been for some time in thig diocese. He lately went undtr a very severe operation, from which he never really rallied, and finally succumbed as stated above. The deceased's remains were brought up from the Thames on Wednesday morning in charge of the Right Rev. Mgr. O'Reilly, and were taken to Onehunga, where a Requiem Mass was celebrated by Mgr. O'Reilly. There were also present the Very Rev. Mgr. Paul, V.G., Rev. Fathers Patterson, Buckley, Egan, and Moore The remains were interred in Onehunga, the service at the graveBide being conducted by Monsignor O'Reilly. The deceased was 1 1 years of age. — R.I.P.
