WEDDING BELLS.

PFAHLKRT — BHAFFEBY. A quiet but pretty wedding (writes our (Hokitika oorreepon. dent) was solemnised at St. Mary's Church, Hokitika, on Monday, April 16, when Mr. Charles Pfalhert, of Kanieri, and Miss Ellen Shaffrey, of Hokitika, were united in the bonds of holy Matrimony by the Rev. Father Le Petit. Miss L. Hayes, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, whilst Mr. M. Shaffrey, brother of the bride, was best man. After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the residence of the bride's parents, where the breakfast was laid, In the afternoon the newly-married couple left for Kanieri, where they are to reside.
