MR. JOHN BUTLER, .TUN., BALI) HILL IX VT

In our laht issue we announced that the Premier had received a cable message from the High Commissioner, Capetown, to tue elfect that Private . l ohn Butler, of the Third Contingent, was killed in action at Wmrurg, on August 27. We now learn with regret that the deceased was t-on of Mr. John Butler of Bald Hill Flat. Mr. Butler and family have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement. — U.I. P.
