ROGERS — GUDGEON.
A quiet but pretty wedding took place here on Tuesday (says the Lake Wakatipu Ma if), when Mi^s Mabel Gudgeon, third daughter of Mr. C. E. Gudgeon of this town, was united in the holy bonds of Matrimony to Mr W Rogers, son of the late Mr Joseph Rogers, ot Glenquoich Station, Athol. The ceremony was performed by tr e Hey. J. F. O Donnell at the residence of the bride's parents. Eastern Terrace. The bride, who looked very nice attired in a fashionable coHtume of grey cloth with a vest of white corduroy, was attended by her sister, Miss Gudgeon, aa bridesmaid. Alth -ugh the weather could hardly be called bride's weather, it being wet off and on during the morning, a large number of friends assembled on the wharf to offer their congratulations and express their good wi^ies for the future happiness of the newlywedded pair. Mr and Mrs. Rogers were the recipients of a number of costly and useful presents.
