Christchurch, March 2!). — The entries at the Addington market to-day were 12,010 sheep, 401) cattle, G22 pigs. The sale generally was a good one, except for pigs and store cattle.

Fat Cattle brought 12s 6d to 17s Cd per 1001 b per head. Steers brought L 3 to L62s Gd ; heifers, L 3 5s to L 7 ; cows, L 3 to L 5 10s. Seventy-five 18 -months -old stores sold at 2(3s to 45s ; dairy cows, L 4 to L 8 10s. Fat Sheep. — Freezing sheep, 12s (3d to Iris 6d ; do unfinished, lls to 123 ; extra heavy-weight ewes, lls to 13s ; good do, Ss to 10s ; inferior, 5s Gd to 7s Od.

Fat Lambs. — Prime, 12s to 12s Od ; freezers, 10s to Ila 9d ; butchers' lambs, 8s to 10a 3d.

In store sheep a line of 400 four-year-old halfbred ewes from Starborough brought lls 3d ; 100 sound-mouth ewes, 9s ; four and six-tooth ewes, 8s 8d to 8s lOd ; store lambs, 7s to 8a Bd.

There were 200 pigs, chiefly stores, entered from the North Island. They brought 15s to 3Sa Gd ; baconers 45s ; local baconers, 43s to Gla ; porkers, 35s to 42s 6d ; stores, 15s to 1()3 ; weaners, 12a to lls. Baconers and porkers averaged Bid to 4.d per lb.
