TO THL EDITOR N Z. T USLET. Snt. — The general election is near at hand. It is our desire and wish that every adult male and temale Catholic elector's name should be placed on the roll. You have already pointed out this fact. Will individual efforts accomplish this task .' We can hardly expect it. Then I say our time is short, committees for such objects should be formed in the various centres. I know for a fact that many interested persons are industriously circulating a rumour that Catholics are to drop the question of their educational claims at this election. [We are glad that our correspondent has drawn attention to this matter which is one of great importance. We have already pointed out the necessity for an organised effort of some kind to secure the enrolment of all Catholic electors As to the rumour that Catholics are to drop the education question at this election we will only say that parliamentary candidates who rely on the truth of such a manifest rtmnnl will find that they have made a serious mistake. — Ed.
