PROSPECTUS OF ST PATRICK'S COLLEGE, WELLINGTON, NEW ZEILAND. OONDUOTED BY THE MARIST FATHERS. St. Patrick 'a College i 8 intended to afford the you'h of New Zealand a sound liberal education, while furnishing all those safeguards of religion, without which education ceapea to be an advantage. The course of education, classical, scientific, anl mercantile, iB traced in the programme of studies. A Bpecial course ia provided, in which students are taught everything needful for mercantile pursuits. Students are prepared for Civil Service, Law, University, and Musical Examinations. A large and well appointed gymnasium has been added to tbe College, giving the students facility for developing muscuUr power. A select library ia at the disposal of the students during the hours set apart for reading. Vacation is given twice a year, in June and December. One term's notice is required before the withdrawal of a student. The religious education of tbe students will ba attended to as a matter of the first and greatest importance. Non-Catholic students are required to attend Ihe common exercises of religion, and comform to tbe ordinary rules of the College, OUTFIT FOR BOARDERS Each Intern Student requires the following eutfit : — Two ordinary suiti of cloihing fnr week days, one dark suit for Sundays, Bix day shirts, three night shirts, Bix pairs socks, six pocket handkerchiefs, three tab'e napkin?, two pairs boots, one pair slippers, two pairs of sheets, four pillow casep, six towelß, combs, brushes, and other dressing articles, one silver spoon, knife, fork, and napkin ring. T E R M 8. BOARDERS— AII Intern Pupilp, 40 Guineaa per annum, Entrance Fee (payable once only), 3 Guineaa. DAY SCHOLARS — Preparatory School, 6 Guineas per annum. College, 9 Guineas per annum. EXTRAS (per annum) :— Musi?, 8 Guineas; Drawing, 3 Guineas; Shorthand, 3 Guineaß; Washing, 1 Guinea; Stationery, comprising use of copy books, exercises, letter paper, etc 1 Guinea. A charge of Nine Guineas per annum extra is made tor day scholars who dine at tbe Co'lrge. A reduction of 10 per cent is made in favour of bro'here, whe her boarders or day scholars, No reduction may be expected in tbe case of absence or withdrawal before the end of a term.
