♦ , . Thk half yearly meeting of the Duneriin Brinch ot the Hibernian Society was held in the Christian Bro hers' Schoolroom on the Bth inst, when there was a f*ir attendance of members. The balancesheet for the quarter was read anl adopted, showing a net gain of £41 on the quarter's transactions.

P.P. Bro J. O'Neill installed the following officers for the ensuing quarter :— president, Bro J. A. Hally ; vice-preßident, Bro, M.Montague; treasurer Bro D. O'Hahoney (re-elected), ; secretary, Bro J. O'Connor (re-elected) ; warden, Bro P. O Rourke ; guardian, Bro J. Alien.

Bro J O'Neill before vacating the chair thanked the members for the assistance they rendered him daring his term of office and expressed ihe hope that the sime assistance and courtesy would be extended to his successor. The newly instajlel officers th n&ed the members for the confidence reposed in them and promised to do all in their power lo further the interest of the Branch and Society. A vote of tLanka to the retiring officer* was carried by acclamation.
