(Kumara Times, December 20 ) A jlkasAnt eveuing's amusement was tendered by tbe Sisters of atBrigid ! s Convent last night in the form of a children's concert Th schoolroom was prettily decorated and the Catholic Brass' B nrf under Mr Bremond assisted in filling in the intervals in a nleasftnt manner. The Eev Father O'Hallaha n presided. The folowintnr gramme waa excellently rendered : "Hearts and Homes" chornT " Song of the Sky Lark," piano duet, Mi hße9 M. Watson and A Mil aon ; "Oh. Ever Thus," M. Moynihan, J. Brown, 8. Caldwell A Coll
M. Moynihan, B. Sullivan ; selection, Band ; A clever debate on the comparative merits of education and commercial enterprise, Master W. Close acting as chairman ; " The wind and the Harp," chorus ; "Balmoral," piano solo, Miss Grace Djrger; "Flow on, thou shining river," quartette, Miss L. Warren, M. Pullivan, N. McOormick and M. Galbraith ; "Goldfinch Quadrilles," Misses M. Watson and G. Burger ; " The Warrior Page," vocal duet in character, Miss G. Bnrger and Master Gilbert; "We'll Have to Mortgage the Farm," quartette, Misses N . MiCormick, G. Burger, L. Warren and M. Galbraith. The evening finished with a farce " Mrs Willis' Will," Misses Norah Brown, Maggie Sullivan, S. Caldwell, Nellie MoCormick and Lillie Warren preforming their several parts very creditably.
