Messes. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :—: — For the convenience of those from a distance attending the annual horse parade we held our weekly sale on Friday instead of Saturday. There was a. large entry of hacks, harness horses, and spring cart and draughts. A fair number changed owners. The demand for draughts was not very great, bat for spring van horses or light draughts suitable fjr grocers' carts the demand was ve-y good. We quote : First-class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LlB to L 22 ; medium draughts, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts, LG to LlO ; good hacks and harness horses LI 2 to Ll6 ; medium do, L 7 to L 9, light and inferior do, L 2 10a to L 5. Ml! F. Meenan, King street, reports : — Wholesale price only — Oats : feed, Is 3d to Is 3d ; seed, Is 7d. Wheat : Milling, 2s <>d to 3s ; fowls' wheat, 2s Od to 2s Gd. ChaS : Inferior to medium, 30s to 455 ; good to prime, £2 5s to £2 15s 01. Hay : Oats, £3 ; ryegraes, £2 ss. Potatoes : seed kidneys, £2 03 ; derwents, 30s to 355. Flour : Stone, £6 10s to £7 0s ; roller, £7 to £7 15s. Oatmeal, 251bs, £8 5s ; bulk, £8. Butter, fresh, 6i to lOd salt, 7d, fair demand, Eggs, 7d per d<zen (fair Bupply.)
