A daughter of the celebrated historian of Lourdes, M Henri Lasserre, was married the other day to M Ferdinand d'Abbadie d'Arrast, son of the great Ethiopian explorer.
The Empress Eugenic has, it ia said, been engaged on her memoirs for many years. As soon as a page is written it is placed under lock and kuj, and not even her most intimate friends ever see it. •
