(From an occasional Correspondent,)
'On Thursday, June 21st, the first of a series of entertainments was held in Bt Joseph's schoolroom. The obj'Gt of these entertainments is principally to bring Catholics together to spend a few pleasant hours in each other's company, also to create a taste for the young ipeople to take an interest in Churcb and school matters, and to give them a chance to develop their talents in music, singing, etc. <§reat praise is due to Mr Joyce for the happy thought in instituting teach entertainments, bb they will be the means of promoting a very gfeat amount of good amongst the Catholics,
During the evening refreshments were served round, and every one seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves.
