BECTARE FIDEM. With the approbation of His Grace the Archbishop, tiro Scholarship! of the annual value of forty guineas each will be submitted for com* petition in December, 1891, to pupils attending the Catholic Schools in the Colony. C EDITIONS. 1 . Each of these scholarships will be tenable for tiro years. 2. These scholarships may be compated for by Catholic boys attending the parochial schools. 3. Should there be no Catholic schools in the district, candidates will be admitted to competition oa the recommendation of the priests of the respective parishes. 4. Successful candidates must provide ou tit ac:ordinj to Collage prospectus. 5 A scholarship will be held to b 3 forfeited unless iooeptanoa of same ii signified within one week of notification,
6 Power is reserved of allotting a vacant scholarship to next candidate, provided the requisite Btandarl is attained in examination. 7. The examination will be conducted in writing at certain fixed centres, on a date to be fixed between the lit and 20th December. 8. Candidates must be under sixteea on the Ist of January following the date of examination. 9. Application from intending candidates, with authoritative declaration of ag», must be Bent to the college not later than November Ist preceding the examination. 10. All subjects on the programme to be attempted. 11. Marks under 25 per cent oE the total ia any snbj ct will be deemed a failure in that subject. PRO3BAMME. 1.
