LINCOLN.
The annual meeting of 8t Patrick's Branch, No 192 of the above was held in the schoolroom, New Heaiford, Lincoln, on Thursday, January 11. There was a fair attendance of members, despite the the hurry of the harvest season. Tne quarterly balance-sheet showed the branch to be in a sound financial poaition. The auditora complimented the secretary on the state of his books. The election of officers for ensuing turn took place and resulted as follows :—President, Brother E. O'Biurke ; vice-president, Brother H. Laathem ; secretary, Brother B. Lloyd ; treasurer, Brother W. Byan ; guardian', Brother E. Murphy ; sick visitorp, Bey Father Foley and Brother M. O'Neill ; auditors, Bey Father Foley and Brother D. McVeigh. The newly-elected officers were duly installed by the president Brother J. Doherty. A hearty vote of thanks waa accorded to the retiring officers an J suitably acknowledged by Brothers J. Doherty and M. F. Byan. After 10 years of continued offio bearing, Brother J. D therty was appointed delegate to the annual meeting of the D B. at Wellington. The trusteea were empowered to invest £100 as a fixed deposit.
