The Hastings Catholic School broke up for the holidaya on Monday last, when the drama '' Filiola " was given by the children. \ Mr Ellis (the Mayor) presided, and delivered a short address, as also * did Father Smyth, the latter complimenting; the Sisters on the efii-
cient state of St Patrick's school. The scholars were examined by Mr Holley, of Meaaea Mission Station, the results of tb» txaoainatioa being highly satisfactory.
