Store Cattle—The supply of those offering np to the present stems to be considerably short of requirements. A good demand still continues to exist. Sellers have no difficulty in meeting with bu>en>, more Fspec'aUy those who have grown cattle in forward condition for disposal, and prices are secured compiling favourably with the high pricef now paid for finished off lots Store Sheep — Only a very moderate business is being done in Ibefe now. The season's transaction?, however, compare favourably with throe pnt tbrongh at the same time during the past few seasons. Sheepskins — A s'eady demand continues to exist for these. On Tuesday, the weekly sale day at the Chamber of Commerce hall, the attendarce was good, mottly all the representatives of the trade were present. Chbff— The supply this week has been ample for requirements, prices in consiqutnce have not further improved. Quotations for be»t, 60a to 67s 6d ; extra prime, 70a to 72s 6d ; median?, 45s to 55s ; inferior, 30s to 42s 6J per ton, ex truck, sacks extra net.

Dairy Produce— Sales of butter in kegs are still quite of a retail character. Prime salt, dairy-made, nomina'iy worth 6i to 7d ; medium, 4d to 5d ; factory, lOd to lid per Ib. Factory cheese is now in fewer hands, and la*e rates more readily secured, which are — For large size, 4^l to 4£ J ; medium, 4^d tosd ; loaf,sd toSJJ , dairymade. 2 1 to 41 per Ib.

Flu— The market remains quiet, and no further indications of any improvement in price. The few consignments now coming forward are taken np at about equal to thefollnwing quotations — viz, betttdressed, Ll6 to Ll7 ; medium to good. 1,14 to Llo 10s; luUrior, nominally LlO 10s to Ll2 100 per ton (rx store).
