Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :— The demand at our sale on Saturday was, for nearly all descriptions, exceedingly flat, the only exception beiofr for good active horses suitable for spring vans or spring carts. There were a fair number of both draught and light harness horses forward. We quote : For fint-clast dranghtß, extra heavy, L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LlB to L 22 ; medium draughts, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts, L 6 to L 10;1 0; good hacks and harness horses, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium do, L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior do, L 2 10a to L 5.
