Messes Stbonach Bbos. and Morris report as follows :— Wool — The fifth sale of thia season's series will be held at the Oddfellows' Hal!, Battray street, on Friday, March 24. Rabbitflkios — Only very small lots are now coming to hand, for which there is good competition at for summer and spring skins, 7M to 14d ; inferior lots, 6d to 7ii. Sheepskins — We presented a moderate ca'alogue for Tuesday's sales. Toer« was »fu!l attendance of buyers, all lots being clearel at the following prices — Qreeu batchers' pens, Is 61 to 2s 4 i ; do lambs, Is 2d to 2* 7d ; dry ekins, pelts, 9J to 2s 3 i ; do lambs, 91 to 2d 4d ; do merino full-woolled, up to 4* 8d ; do crossbreds, up to 5< 9J. Hides — The supply, more especially of light hides, is more than sufficient for reqairemeots. Prices in consequence show no tendency towards any improvement. We quote— Prime heavy, 2^d to 3i ; medium, 2d to 2£ 1 ; light, ljd to I=[ i ; inferior, Id to Ud ; calfsk.ns, 6d to Is 6d. . * . Grain — There is no change to report in thia market. Babbitskins — Owing to the limited supply the business done in these just now and for some time bick is not very heavy. For heavy good-sonditioned, clean, and without cats er scars, 21 to 2 k 1 ; extra heavy, 2J I to 3d ; medium, l^d to ljd ; inferior to medium, Id to l£d per lb. Tallow— While the market continues firm we have no further improvement in price to report. Dairy Produce— There is no change to note in the tone of the marker, the business done is limited, prime salt butter dairy made is selling in small quantities at 7d to 8d ; factory, 101 to lid per lb. Flax— Owing to low freight offering most of the stock* on hands have been cleared out during the past week but prices have not chinered, quotations for best, £18 to £19 ; medium to good, £16 to £17 10i ; luferior difficult to pace at £13 to £15 10j per ton.
