W. B. Yeata, who was one of the founders of |the Irish Literary Society, has many of the traditional characteristics of the poet. He is gifted by nature with a dark complexion, straight cut hair, a Blightly bent figure ; and be cultivates these advantages by letting his hair grow in a long lock which falls over bis face. Somebody humorously said o£ him lately that hii comsuming ambition was to capture and tame a live leprechaun.
