The University of Padua will celebrate, on December 7th the tercentenary anniversary of Galileo's inetalment aa professor of mathematics, when he delivered the discourse which laid the found*, tion of immortal renown. An album ia to be published on the occasion, which will contain, among other interesting matter documents relating to Galileo's life at Padua, together with the Annual report of 1592, issued at the time by the university.
