CATHOLIC CONCERT AT WAIKARI.

(From an occasional Correspondent.) A SUCCESSFUL concert was held in the Oddfellow's Hall, Waikari, on Thursday evening last, in aid of the presbytery building fond. In the absence of Mr Lance, tne chair was occupied by Mr C. J. White The first part of the programme was composed of Irish eonsjs and step dancing bj Messrs Falvy und O'Bnne. The second part waa rendered by ihe North Canterbury Christy Minstrel troupe ( During the evening provisions were provided by the ladies of the district presided over by Mrs Shannon, The entertainment was a success financially and otherwise.
