DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.

Messrs. Wright, Stkphenson and Co. report as follows :— For Saturday's sale the entry was abnormally small, and in consequence a very meagre business was done. Buyers were present in con-iaer-able numbers for all descriptions of light harness horses. Horses suitable for express waggons, bakers' and butchers' c*rts, and for milk cans and vans were in special request, and aa unlimited number of suitable a limals could be placed at satisfactory prices. The same remark also applies to serviceable buggy hortes and strong, cob-built hacks. For good, useful, fresh draughts there is a fair demand at quotations : — First-class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LlB to L 22 ; medium draughts, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts, L 6 to LlO ; good hacks and harness horses, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium hacks and harness horses, L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior backs and harness horses, L 2 10s to L 5.
