Average collections of winter greys are worth about Is 5d per lb if free from damp and well stretched. Remittances sent oa receipt of goods and no commission charged. ,
Mr. F. Meenajj, King street, reports :— Wholesale prices— Oats : Is 3d to Is s£d (bags extra), good demand. Wheat : milling, 4s 6d to 4s 9d ; fowls', 3a 6d to 33 9J, sacks included. Chaff : Market full— £2 to £2 la 6d ; hay, oaten, £3 ; best rye-grass, £3 ss. Bean, £3 10s. Pollard, £4 10s. Potatoes, kidneys, £2 0s to £2 5s ; derwents, £1 15 ato £2 sa. Flour : roller, £12 to £12 15s; stone, £11 5s to £11 15s, firm. Fresh butter, lOd to U2d ; salt, nominal, for prime, 7|d. Eggs, lOd. Oatmeal, £9 os.
