Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :— A very Btnall entry was received for to-day 'a eale, and, as usual, when few countiy lots of horses are advertised, the attendance was small. The demanvl was by no means brisk, the only inquiry being for shifters and tarm nurse*, of winch thtTe w<;re very few forward. We quote— really fir-t class heavy draught geldings, £22 to £25 ; good ordiua-v draught horses, £14 to £20 ; light and a^ed drau^nt horses, £4 to £12 ; good epimg-cait is, £10 t 0 £15 ; well-mUched carnage p<iirs. £40 to £50 ; well-m.tcned bu^ey p*irs, £30 to *40 ; firs -class hunters, £20 to £30 ; usetul hacks and harness horec, £7 to £16; weedy eoite, £2 tv £5.

Sheepbkins — Our quotations areas follows: — Green crossbreds sold at 2s 3d to 3s 2 i ; dv lambs, 2s 4d to 3s Id ; dry crossbreds, 2s Id to 5s 7d ; menno9, Is 8 1 to 5< 2 t ; do pelts aud pelts, 6s to 2s 2d. Hides — In this market there has been no material a teration. Light and medium-cla«s hid s are. difficult to pla^e at 1% i to 2d pt*r lb.
