Poor Mr. Jacob Primmer, of Dunfermline has received a severe snub from the Queen. He wrote to her Majesty calling upon her to use her influence against the " truckling to Rome " of members of the Church Society of the Church of Scotland. Tbe letter having been laid before tbe Queen, she " was not pleased to signify any conomandß thereon." We tear that Mr. Trimmer's loyally n just now evaporating.
