Swan. — At her residence, Little William street, Limerick, Ireland, Ellen Josephine, the beloved wife of James Swan ; aged 3S years. For many years contralto sintrer in the Franciscan Church of that city, and eister of Mrs. John Roache of Blue Spur, Tuapeka. Deeply regretted by many friends. — 11.1.P. Whitaker.— OE your charity pray for the repose of the eoul of Mrs. Hester Fear Whitaker (of Lambton Quay, Wellington, N.Z.), who died fortified with all the rites of the Holy Church, June 24, 1890 ; aged 73 years.— iZ./.
