FASHIONABLE MARRIAGE AT BRIGHTON.
VTb. CHA.KLTES E. N. Charriagton, o'ly son of the late Mr. Charles Chanington, of 4 Hyde l J .irk. Gardens, W., was manied on Tuesday, March 19, in the presence of a large gathering, at the Church of the Stored Heart, Brighton, to Miss Aloncade f-apasture, daughter of the Count and Counter de Lapwtnrj. of Walsingham Terrace, West Brighton (late of Pananui, Christehurcb). The bride's uncle, Rev. Father L pasture, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Father Donnelly. The best man, Mr. Frank Charrington, was a cousin of the bri deKroom, and the Count gave his daughter away. There were eight bridesmaids viz , Misses Helen and Maige de Lapasture, Miss Dawson, Misses Minnie and Biith Staff >r<i, Mis* Charrington. Miss Maria Cox. arid Mis* B. Lou^'inan, of Chnstchurch. A smart page, picturesquely costumed as a cava ier in white satin, Master de Lapaslurc, acud as tain bearer, and tie wore the bridegroom's gift of a p-arl pin. ffarly in the afcern on the happy couple left frr Paris and Ihe i.iviera for a lengthened hocevmojn iour. The presents were numerous and costly. The ball in the evening was attended by a crowd of nobility and titled gentry.
