Theordinary meeting of St. Joseph's Branch H.A.C.8.5., was held on April 16, in the Christian Brothers" schoolroom, Dunedin After the usual business had been disposed of. Bro. P. Leahy, late of Christchurch, was piesented by the President. Bro. M. Fun ton, on behalf of the District Kxecutive, Auckland, with a very handsome Maltese cross, in recognition of valued services iendeii'l to the Society in the past. Bro. He also thauked the branch members for the mannjr i-i w.iich the presentation had been made. He stiongly urg. d members to make same tmall self-sacrifice to procure direct representation at Board meetings, and would do all in Us power to gain such a desirable attainment.
