Ihb following ia the acconnt for the year, (1888), of the money forwarded to us for transmission to Ireland, in aid of the National cause, either to be applied to the Evicted Tenants' Fund, the Payment of Members, tae general purposes of the League, or the Parnell Defence Fand : —
All the above sums witii the exception of the last two received, that is £1 \oi from Ophir and £13 5a from Skipper's, which remain to the credit of the Ltague in tbe bank of New Zealand, until a sufficient mm has Heeii rt chived to forward together with them, have been duly transmuted to Dublin. His Grace Archbishop Waleh, the Lord Major of Dublin, (Mr. Thomas Sexton) : and Air. T. D. Sullivan editor of the Nation wen 1 the ctiHuneU through whom the money was conveyed to Mr. T. Harrison, secretary of the League.
