THE REPRESENTATION. tWO years ago an Act was passed by the New Zealand Parliament reducing the number of our representatives from ninety-four to seventy-four. This was one of the wisest Acts enacted by our Legislature for some time. Ninety-four representatives for a little over half a million of people was an absurdity.
