Cardinal Moran, in company with Bishop Lack and Bishop Murray (of Maitland) made a tour yesterday of the pensioner settle* ments of Onehuuga, Otahubu, Paamure, and Howick, and weie enthusiastically received. Cardinal Moran delivered a lecture on Temperance iv St. Patrick's Cathedral in the evening to a crowded audience. Bishop Reynolds, of Adelaide, and Bishop Moran, of Dunedin.are passengers for the South by the Wairarapaon Wednesday. In the House of Commons on Wednesday night the Right Hon H. Holmes, member for Dublin University, gave notice of a motion to the effect tbat the House is nnwilling to vote the money required for the carrying on of the civil government of Ire Und until it it informed of the policy of her Majesty's Government with regard to the maintenance of order in Ireland. Following upon the signal urea of the treaty of peaoe wilb Bulgaria, the Servian Government are taking steps for the prompt demobilisation of the army. Advices from the Tarko-Grecian frontier state that the Greek forces are collecting much nearer to the boundaries of the two countries. Lord Randolph Churchill, in a speech at Manchester, said the Conservative party would support a Liberal or a coalition Government.
