I have to report an imnrovcd demand for Vest description of milling, with a slight advance on last week's quotations. My sales have been : White velvet of medium quality '3s 3d. Really prime lota of white velvet and Tuscan command 3s -id to 3s 5d ; other milling descriptions. 3s to 3-i2d. Fowl-fe»>d aud inferior milling are wanted at 2s 6d to 2s 91.— Oats : There is a fandemand for milling and bright shoit feed, but --hipping orders are now pretty well supplied. As, however, arrival have been few, prices show no appreciable reduction. I quote : Milling. 2* to 2s Id ; bright short feed, Is lid to 2s ordinary, Is 9.1 to Is lOd. — Barley : There is little doing, and prices are nominally the same as reported last week. — Chaff : The maiket is bare, and prime quality readily commands £3 5s ; medium, £3. — Potatoes The market inclines to be weaker, and last week s quotations aie barely mam tamed.— Butter : Prime salt is wanted in kegs at lid : Fresh rnoies off at Is for piime, and 10d f<>r medium. — Cheese: 3d per Ib. for best quality.— Hggs • I have got SVi for most of my consignment*. — Grass Seed M v t-ales have been ai 4s 9d to os for tuachine-diessed ryegrass, and 2|d up to 4£d per lb. for cocksfoot.
