Otago Land Boabd. — At the meeting of the Board on Wedneeday the following applications were declined ;— J. Wnitburn's, for a right to the water at Silver Lake ; that of the creditors of W. Young, that section 3, block 25 (deferred paymeot)E. Gore, should be sold for their benefit ; that of J. Sutherland to occupy sections in block 9, Maerewhenua ; those of G. Carlisle and R. Nicholson. Notice of forfeiture for non-payment of rent was ordered to be given to F. Fraser, section 6, block 2, Budle ; to L. Cooney and Michael Nasb, blocks 9 and 11, Tuapeka West ; and T. Roughan, Waitahuna West. The application of settlers at Heriot, for the grouping and selling on deferred payments of back sections in the township was referred to the district land officer. An application from settlers at Blackstone that certain unoccupied sections should be declared into a hundred was referred to Government. Appointments of wardens were made as follows :— J Culling, J.
