The guardians of theKilmallock union have resolved to build over 600 labourers' cottages, and have directed Mr. John Carroll to form a scheme and prepare maps and plans. It is reported that owing to the appointment of Mr. Robert O'Brien, of Oldchurch, near Limerick, as agent for the Cloncurry estates, there is a prospect of an arrangement being come to between Lord Clonclurry and his tenantry. Mr. O'Brien was recently married to Miss Forster, the adopted daughter of the ex-Chief Secretary for Ireland.

Sir John Joseph Corrigan, Bart., who succeeded his grandfather, Sir Dominic Corrigan, in the baronetcy, died of typhoid fever in Canada, on the 23rd Oct. The Liberal agents in CoTk claim that the revised register which 1 now stands good to the end of 1884 shows the following numbers :—: — Liberals, 3,381 ; Tories, 1,699 ; majority for Liberals, 1,782. The Liberals admit that the National party can claim a fair percentage of the work accomplished.
