A despatch from Montreal says : Praparations are now being made among Irishmen throughout Canada and the United States for a monster demonstration of American public opinion, in the shape of a procession and convention, to take place in New York on St. Patrick's Day, at which several delegates from Jrish societies from every city in the Union and Canada are to be present. Messrs. Parnell, Davitt, Dillon, and other agitators have signified their intention of being present. It is not improbable that a great demonstration will be witnessed. Cheap railway excursions are being secured.
