A German Piotestant journal says the Chinch is more and more taking loot in the northern part of the grand duchy of Oldenburg. Ot late the Catholics of the city of Oldeubing have built a church which is unite an ornament to tbe town. At Delmenhorst, also, a chapel has beeu built, and the poor people of the place have subscribed an annual contribution of 112 dollars toward the interest of tbe building capital. Similar works aie going on in other parts of North Germany, in Hanover, Schleswig, Mecklenburg, etc,
