The Catholic Church Board of Wiscaden has addressed a petition to the A r ice-President of the Hess-Nassa demanding the restoration of the parish church on the ground that the old Catholics no longer make use of it in the sense of the law : and they have no parish priest and no regularly oiganized Church service. Even when foreign clergymen, such as Dr. Heinkins. Beusch, Knoodt, and Steinwaches, come from time to time to perform Divine service in the church, there are hardly more than thirty persons present, notwithstanding the advertisement that appears in the local newspapers. — Catholic Times.
